Editorial Update: L'Oreal Tanning Shoot

Just a quick post to show off (hehe) some new work that I'm really pleased with. On this shoot I had the chance to work with photographer Jenny Brough, Hair Stylist Heath Massi and Tanning Expert James Harknett! What was so fun about the shoot was we were allowed full reign to tan the model, who arrived in full Emo mode! So she was pale pale and pale! I said to James to give her as many coats of body tanning tint as possible. And with careful blending of makeup, much skill from everyone and gorgeous lighting, we had our lovely pale beauty turn into full-on Bronzed Glamazon! I love the pics, have a look!

What do you think? You wouldn't have known she was as fair as can be right?

  1. Great job!
Have you tried Mac F&B in N9 mixed with moisturizer to fake a tan? (when you don't have a tanning specialist on set with you, it might do the trick)

    1. Hi! Thanks, I used to use the N9 back when tanning experts weren't around but nowdays I tend to use either NARS bronzing oil or the Guerlain Tanning Fluid to give a believable and deep tan on models.

    1. Thanks! The bronzer is the Chanel Bronze Universal mixed with a darker foundation. Highlighter is a new product that I am trialing. The lipstick is Givenchy Le Rouge and MAC Ruby Woo & Scarlet Lip Mix. x
